Dr. Tom Kirschbaum
CEO EVEX Group
Dr. Tom Kirschbaum has been CEO of the EVEX Group since 2024. Tom brings more than 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur and investor/advisor of software companies to the Group. He was co-founder and CEO of the software companies door2door & Swvl Inc. for around 10 years until the IPO on the NASDAQ at the beginning of 2022.
He then worked for a number of software start-ups as well as for BASF, Axel Springer Consulting and various companies in the automotive sector on important software and digitization projects. Tom lives in Berlin with his family.
Hannah Schmieder
Head of HR EVEX Group
Hannah has been Head of HR at the EVEX Group since January 2025. After studying linguistics and then psychology, she worked for a medium-sized wholesale company for over eight years, where she built up and managed the HR department from scratch.
Hannah lives in Stuttgart. In her free time, she enjoys jogging in the forest, playing tennis and good food.
Oliver Hilgier, CVA
Head of Finance and Operations
Oliver Hilgier has been part of the EVEX Group as Head of Finance and Operations since February 2024. He holds a degree in economics and has further qualified as a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). Before working in leading finance positions at industrial companies, Oliver gained extensive experience in auditing and consulting, with a particular focus on transactions, company valuations and post-merger integration.
Born in Aachen, after many years in Munich, he now lives in the Allgäu with his wife and two children. He enjoys spending time with his family and playing tennis, where he is also involved in voluntary work.
